It can be used after washing the dog but also between washes to nourish the skin – especially dry skin that needs extra care. If you feel that you have sprayed too much conditioner in one place or the dog thinks the spray jet is too powerful, spray the conditioner onto your hand first and then massage it into the dog's coat and skin. When the conditioner is first applied, some types of coat may feel a little heavy or sticky, but this will change once the coat has dried. Adjust the dose to the dog's coat type.
