Food supplement for temporary disorders of the gastrointestinal tract in dogs and cats. Properties: Attapectin's active ingredients, attapulgite and pectin, protect the walls of the digestive tract and bind and remove bacterial toxins and intestinal fermentation products. If used in the long term, attapulgite and pectin can also bind beneficial substances, e.g. medicines, vitamins and iron. Attapectin must therefore be given more than three hours after medication. Instructions for use: Attapectin is used to treat temporary digestive disorders in dogs and cats. At the same time, the animal should receive enough liquid (at least 50-100 ml/kg of body weight/day), preferably containing electrolytes (e.g. Nutrisal). The liquid requirement will increase if the animal has severe vomiting or severe diarrhoea. Dosage: Tablet Times/day Treatment period. Small dogs (under 10 kg) 1 tablet 2-3 times per day for 2-3 days. Medium-sized dogs (10-20 kg) 1-2 tablets 2-3 times per day for 2-3 days. Large dogs (over 20 kg) 2-3 tablets 2-3 times per day for 2-3 days. Cats 1 tablet 2-3 times per day for 2-3 days. The tablet can be crushed and dissolved in water. One tablet weighs 0.7 g.
