Grooming Tools

By using the right grooming tools, you can effectively remove dirt, debris and dead hair, resulting in a fresh and clean coat.

In our range, you'll find various different types of grooming accessories, including the following:

• Dandy brush/flick brush: With coarser and longer bristles than a body brush, a dandy brush is used to brush off a horse before you begin the actual grooming. It helps to loosen dirt and debris from the coat.
• Body brush: This brush is used to remove dander (skin residue, dirt and dust), as well as to massage the horse's body and skin, increasing blood circulation. A brush with short and fairly hard bristles penetrates the coat when you use long strokes. If your horse shows irritation towards a hard brush, choose a softer brush with longer bristles.
• Curry comb: Used to clean the body brush of dust and dirt, helping to keep your tools in good condition.
• Rubber scraper/plastic curry comb: Perfect for removing hair or soil, especially during shedding season or when a horse is muddy.
• Mane comb: Used to detangle the mane and keep it in top condition.
• Sponges: To clean the horse in areas that are not suitable for brushing. Use different sponges for different areas for hygienic reasons, such as one sponge for the muzzle and another for the genital area.
