You can easily alleviate your horse's discomfort with various types of fly protection such as fly repellents, fly masks, and fly rugs. Fly Sprays & Fly Repellents

You can protect your horse from insects, mosquitoes, and flies using fly repellents. There are both sprays and creams designed to alleviate and protect your horse from flies, insects, and mosquitoes.

By combining fly spray and fly cream, you get comprehensive protection against summer pests. The fly spray is easily applied with a few sprays over the horse's body and keeps the insects at bay. The fly cream can be used to protect the more sensitive areas where fly spray should not be used, such as the face and mucous membranes. Fly cream is also perfect for applying around wounds or chafing.

Fly Mask & Fly Fringe

Flies and insects can easily cause runny and irritated eyes on your horse. A fly mask or a fly fringe even called fly veil is a helpful tool to help your horse keep the flies away from their eyes and ears. A fly mask gives your horse comprehensive protection over the face, eyes, and ears, while a fly fringe acts as an extended forelock, making it easier for your horse to shake off insects and flies.

Fly & Eczema Rug

Use a fly rug for extra protection against insect bites, flies, and mosquitoes. If your horse is sensitive to the sun and suffers from summer eczema or sunburn, we recommend a UV-protective eczema rug. An eczema rug provides the same protection as a fly rug, but since it has a thicker fabric, it also provides protection against the sun, reducing the discomfort from UV rays.
