Scoot Pads are used for horses with sensitive soles or as a filling if your horse is between two sizes. We only recommend soles if they are necessary for one of these two reasons. Most horses do not need pads in Scoot Boots. Using pads may affect the fit of the boots and you may need to go up a size. Scoot Pads are made from TPU and are designed to provide relief to horses that have sensitive soles or are between sizes. The Scoot Pad size depends on the size of the boots you use and follows the same size chart as the corresponding boot size. Scoot Pads size 000-2 are 3 mm thick, Scoot Pads size 3-8 are 4 mm thick. If you use Scoot SLIM, you'll need to cut the pad to size to fit the boot.
